Dangerous is a riot of forgotten hardware, stitched into precision. Created from a trove of old garage parts — and a territorial scolding that sparked collaboration — this piece explores the hidden politics of domestic space and gendered labour. The mirrored backdrop holds history while reflecting the chaos of modern detritus, arranged into the word DANGEROUS. As part of Sustainable Inertia, this work asserts that resistance is often unglamorous, heavy, and sharp-edged. It challenges viewers to question what’s considered “junk,” and who decides what’s allowed to take up space — on the wall, and in the home.
