Made of Maybes Limited Edition Fine Art Print by Lisa Watkins
What if the life you've been hoping for begins with one tiny maybe?
Rich in colour and meaning, it celebrates possibility, resilience and the quiet courage found in life's smallest beginnings.
ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Every significant change begins long before anyone else notices it.
It begins with a quiet decision. A hesitant first step. A possibility we almost dismiss before giving it room to grow.
Made of Maybes explores those fragile moments that quietly shape a life. The tiny acts of courage that rarely receive applause. The uncertain beginnings that eventually become the stories we tell ourselves about who we are.
Created during one of the most emotionally demanding periods of my life, this artwork became a reminder that progress is rarely dramatic. Sometimes simply choosing to believe tomorrow might be different is enough.
Its joyful colours don't ignore life's challenges. They sit beside them, gently reminding us that hope and hardship often exist together.
The original artwork was recognised with First Place in the Assemblage Category at the Waitākere Arts Awards, celebrating both craftsmanship and the emotional power of the work.
Whether displayed in a home, workspace or gifted to someone beginning a new chapter, Made of Maybes is a daily reminder that possibility rarely arrives fully formed.
Sometimes it begins with one quiet thought.
"Maybe."

My Shiny Perspective:
What happens when you spend eight hours straight in Photoshop, trying to create the most stunning, otherworldly bloom the world has ever seen? You either emerge victorious… or slightly delirious. Extremity is what happens when a flower mutates into a sci-fi goddess—part organic, part futuristic, all handcrafted. This is from my original sculpture Atomic Bloom which can be found here.
